Genassy Construction is a company operating in the Toronto GTA since 2014.

Chris Mahon, owner of Genassy Construction, grew up in the trades. From a young age, he engaged in construction projects with his dad. He was able to learn precise measurement taking, how to apply the right techniques, pay attention to detail, and become patient with tasks and outcomes. All this led to the foundation of his strong work ethic and quality workmanship.

In 2008, while still a student at York University in Toronto, Chris began working in an operations position for a commercial window and door company. For the next five years, Chris worked through the organization in a variety of positions, from sales to shop manager, and eventually found his niche in on-site project management. Managing multi-million dollar projects, this built an early understanding of effective workflows, streamlined processes and managing efficiencies.

In 2014, Chris founded Genassy Construction and began transforming small spaces for his customers. From bathrooms to small basements, the company organically grew through high quality work, great communication with customers and meeting laid out timelines and expectations. With these small projects, the company developed a team of great sub-trades to meet all standards and codes.
